New product: Nine model body templates
When I was a uni, my figure drawing was terrible, we were taught to try draw a fashion model, where every limb is lengthened (if you are wanting to draw a fashion model and are struggling - in How to be a lingerie designer there is an easy hack I cover).
They were so bad at one point that the tutor would mention the bodies rather than my lingerie designs. When I reached my first job, I stopped trying to draw fashion models and did body shapes for lingerie, this meant, I forwent the extra long limbs, didn’t draw the body below the knee and gave my figures curves.
If I have to present any lingerie ideas to clients, I use these model shapes, to keep consistency and to give a hand-drawn feel.
