Free brief pattern from the releVANt range

Finally it begins, the launch of patterns, they made a brief (see what I did there) appearance back in 2016, but I never made it past it past the three I originally launched with. There are certain base patterns I start off with, ones I know that are going to produce great fitting lingerie. With this in mind I am putting together 7-8 pieces of lingerie that not only fit great but are easy to sew.

I bring you the releVANt range, where once you make these, these briefs will will be so releVANt to your wardrobe you will want to make more.

The fabrics used in this range are all stretch, you can make the pieces out of one fabric or mix it up by adding a different colour panel or different type of fabrics.

There is a fabric break down quantity of each option in the pack.

Why is this pattern free?

Not all patterns are made equal, there will be some you love, some you follow easier, some you resonate with and others you simply don’t. Having bought outerwear patterns in the past, I love some and would go back to them and others I didn’t get past step three. I also like to add one thing a year on my website for free if possible, I know some of you are home sewists and some of you want to launch a brand, and the thing that we all have in common is that we start from somewhere.

Brief design and making is fun, a great way to use small bits of fabrics and they are quick and easy to make.

What makes my patterns different?

Not only do I love teaching lingerie design, I love giving people tips, or any knowledge I know so, you can take information from my pattern packs and use it on other designs, for example in this pattern there is a print out page for sewing a hidden gusset, and actual measurements that I mark on my sewing machine to keep the elastic tension consistent if you don’t like to use pins.

What’s great about this free brief pattern?

The brief can be made from the same fabric and as it’s a stretch fabric this can be can be mesh, cotton/elastane or stretch lace etc. If you buy 1m of fabric depending on the width you will be able to get three to five pairs of briefs.
