Grading in cm or inches

A short blog but something which can crop up in you are USA based.

Although the mm or cm doesn’t always translate to inches exactly, I have graded in both for different companies, I’ve put together the measurements which will crop up when grading briefs.

The grade book has step-by-step instructions and diagrams to take you through the grading. So if you are grading by inches, please print out this reference so you get the same result.

The front and back gets graded the same way, the top is in inches and the bottom is in centimetres.

If you wish to learn grading there is a book available or you can book in for a grading course where by I can show you grading on standard patterns or your own.
