I'll be back writing blogs in September
Last Summer holiday I took the Summer off Social Media, as balancing three kids and work seemed crazy work. And it was lovely. This year even though I’ve been in lockdown with them all for four months, I’ve found my groove (does help they are a bit older) and seemed to have done more work than previously.
But with the husband back working away again, I wanted to spend more time with them and not just be in a flurry of hurriedness which doesn’t create my best work. So I am taking a Summer break from planning and writing weekly blogs, so I can listen to tiny voices, and watch them when they insist I do and not have a list of things going on in my head.
I think sometimes we are drilled into the fact that we must push ourselves harder and faster to reach the destination we are striving for, and whilst I will be continuing working, sometimes you need to take a couple of items off your already full plate to slow down and enjoy what’s around you.
