A new product - the launch of digital downloads technical drawings

Not so much a black Friday but a sunshine week

After releasing the e-book How to sketch a bra and brief, I began to get requests if the lingerie could come as Illustartar files rather than PDF files so that each shape could be used and altered.

Looking to see what was out there, it was clear that most of the technical drawing shapes for lingerie were just that, shapes, the correct shapes but no detail.

When you begin to draw technical drawings you need to put every style line and every stitch on your garment. The technical drawing should represent the your design. A pattern make should be able to look at the drawing and decipher a pattern to made. A sample machinist will be able to see which machines will need to be used for the garment, anyway you get the picture.

When starting out drawing your own designs, it helps to have stitches and hardware to use, like the zigzag stitch and the rings and slides.

So here they are three designs called the ‘Addison range’ to start with and I’ll be adding to them, so if you have a certain piece you want to see let me know. And not so much a Black Friday offer but a sunshine week (totally know that line doesn’t work!) I’m offering 25% off these all week.

The three designs are a balconette bra, a suspender belt and a brief and you can buy all three in one go as well.

Which means you get a front and back version of all. In the bra pack you get the lace, rings, slides, bows, 3-step stitch, zig-zag stitch and underwire stitch.

There is also a bank version of all three in each pack if you wanted to plan and hand draw anything before you start. (Saves you deleting an lines before you start).

Below are the versions that are available.
