After you’ve booked a slot, I will email and check with you the best way to chat to you. I will also be asking a rough idea, of what you want to know about and if there are any specific questions you need answering. This then allows the full time to get all your questions answered and more if any occur during our chat.

ABOUT ME

I have been in the lingerie design industry for over twenty years, with my first job working for a UK manufacturer designing for high streets, from there I went on to launch my own lingerie brand ‘Vanjo’ being the first independent stockist in Topshop to sell above a D cup. I handmade all the lingerie for this order, and then as ‘Vanjo’ got busier I sourced a manufacturer to make some of the lingerie. I have freelanced for many companies and also got sponsored by a lingerie company to go work in Melbourne, Australia.

I now specialise in helping designers start their own lingerie brand, and give advice and sell books all about the technical side of lingerie design.

FAQ

• What if I have to cancel at the last minute will I lose my money?

A: Not at all, I understand that if you have to cancel due to situations out of your hands, I’m a mom of three kids, your day can go a different turn than you hoped at any moment. Email me as soon as you know you can’t make the session and I can book you in at a later date.

• I’m new to designing so don’t have specific questions, is that a problem?

Nope, we can talk about your idea, and I can lead the conversation, and ask you questions about your idea, and give you tips and ideas on what you should do next, and get that idea of your into a more concrete form so you come away empowered with knowledge of your next steps.

• What method do we talk to each by?

Whatever is easier. Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, Instagram video, the list is endless or simply old school telephone.

• What times are you available?

When you book I can work around you and pick a time that suits, can be weekday or weekend, I’m quite use to talking early or late into the evening due to times differences (i’m based in the UK)

• I’m wanting help grading a specific piece are you able to show we how?

Yes. So before out session, I would ask you to email me the pattern piece then for our session, I can take you through step-by-step on your actually piece to show you the grade rules and how to grade the piece. Then you can follow exactly the method with me, and ask any questions as we go along.
