2nd Edition of The Anatomy of the bra

The first copy came outback in 2016, and it covered what each part of the bra did, about sizing, different bra shapes and fabrics. Some of the feedback from this book was people wanted it to go more in depth, so the second edition comes in at over 140 pages. Not only does it have my knowledge (of over twenty years) of the lingerie industry but has interviews from bra fitters and where I’ve listed nearly fifty fabric companies all over the world for you to get your trims, fabrics and components from I also contacted each one and asked them what they would recommend for you.

Not only will you understand how a bra is made but by the end you will understand the difference between a demi-cup and a full cup. How different shapes breasts, suit different bras and how the bra size is determined.

One of my favourite parts is at the end of the book; I catch up with established independent lingerie brands to ask them about the technicality problems they face whilst designing a bra.

Split over six chapters including:

Chapter one - What does a bra do?

Chapter two - Boob and bras

Chapter three - Sizing

Chapter four - Anatomy of the bra

Chapter five - Bra fabrics, components and supplies

Chapter six - Final thoughts and Q & A

This book will give you technical side of design whilst also explaining in depth parts of the bra.

Currently this book on presale with 20% off and will be sent to via PDF on June 28th, I am still waiting upon a date for the hard copy.
