What's Vanjo-ing on?
So what’s new?
Since lockdown last year, my business took a slight different direction, before I use to write/design/draw a lot to produce new products and lingerie; but for the past 18 months I have been heavily into consulting and helping new designers get their ideas into reality.
This is of course is awesome as I love to be involved in business starting up in design but has obviously left little time to hang out on social media and get the new products out to you all to help you with your lingerie designs and ideas.

So what’s Vanjo-ing on? Here’s a low down…
Vanjo - My ideas had gone from producing lingerie when someone ordered it, to producing one piece a month and making it all I had from that fabric. Both had their merits, but it soon became apparent that it was easier to mix the two, make the core sizes that I sold regularly and then make the other sizes when I got an order. Currently I am just taking in commission pieces to make and off the shelf pieces will be back. What I am going to do, is release the actual patterns from the off the shelf pieces so you can make the exact same ones.
Blogs - Every summer I state that blogs will be down to fortnightly, and every year I carried on weekly because I have a lot to say ! I still have a lot to say however if I want to be able to produce new work, then the blogs at the moment have gone down to fortnightly.
Newsletters - I’m currently getting these more regular. I actually am this time!
E-course - My beloved lingeri-e-course. It’s written *insert fireworks sounds. And when I was taking train trips up to Manchester for consulting work I managed to edit the whole thing *insert more fireworks. Now what is left to do is the re-write and produce the videos. And as the course will run two times a year I’m aiming for March 2022.
Why aiming? It’s because the weeks before Xmas I’m dropping new products and everything needs to be scheduled in, these will include new technical drawings, lingerie patterns, artwork and freebies.
So that’s what has been Vanjo-ing on with me, I have missed chatting lingerie with everyone on instagram and when the kids head back to school I’ll be able to hit you up with more tips etc about lingerie design.
