New product: six technical drawings of suspender belts
When I was trying to learn how to draw technical drawings, there were many templates out there but they all seemed basic, thick lines with style lines, but I couldn’t find any that provided the little details like bartacks.
One of the hardest things I found with working drawings, was having a library of stitches, laces, and elastics and drawing the different shapes that I needed.
And whilst there are libraries of stitches, and components you can buy, this product is all about the fornt and back view of the different shapes of suspenders.
Well forgo the suspen(der)se (best I got), I am launching new technical drawings, starting with a pack of different shape suspenders.
There are six different shapes of suspender belts (garter belts):
Cross over front suspender belt
Front lace up suspender belt
Wide Galloon-lace suspender belt
High waist brief belt suspender belt
Wide flared satin belted suspender belt
Gallon lace gathered suspender belt
So you should find a shape you are looking for, they have been designs to hold different laces and elastics so you get a good range.
Included in the design:
Stitches: zigzag, bartack, 3-step, single needle, twin needle, gathers
Fabric: 2x all over floral lace, Edge embroidery, 3x all over embroidery
Findings: Lacing, rouched belt with fastening, sliders, rings, straps, flashes, suspender clips, zip, bow
They have been designed on two layers, so you can turn off one layer which contains all the stitching and elastics if you want to start yourself on just the shapes.
