AW18/19 Colour trends

Ceylon yellow (15-0850) is amongst the colours that Pantone predict for AW18/19 colour trends, and apart from from yellow being my favourite colour, I think this colour translates gracefully into lingerie.

Yellow can be a hard colour for people to wear, but I think that when you find your right yellow you're onto a winner. The beautiful thing about choosing lingerie in a colour you love is that you don't have to commit to being saturated in that colour. With the colour yellow promoting hope, and it being uplifting and awakening confidence in yourself, in lingerie I can't think of a better colour to wear. With sports-wear still a strong category within the lingerie industry, strong shapes are still prevalent, with this colour looking splendid with the Quetzal green colour that pantone predicts also sit in the AW18/19 colour trends. The colour Ceylon yellow can look delicate mixed with laces and fine meshes; or paired with black straps or fold-over elastic, the look can be striking and can transform your lingerie into functional outerwear.
